So who am I? that is the question being asked of me. I am a retired older man who is an Army veteran, holds a BFA in photography, worked his career for a company making artificial mechanical heart valves. Presently I am studying ceramics and having a blast doing so. When I get photographs on my new laptop I will post some. I would call myself a foundational Christian after I looked at the other various terms. Terms such as fundamental, evangelical, charismatic, radical, nutso, etc. I considered where I fit and while all of those apply they do not get down to the root of my belief in Jesus Christ and God. I believe in God because I have experienced Him firsthand. I believe in Jesus Christ because of that and because it is the only belief system that contains such simplicity and completeness. My comment to anyone who questions this is to ask you to ask God to reveal Himself to you. Who you are, where you are, in a way you will understand separate from any one manipulating the situation.

The attached photograph was taken in the fall of 2012. It was taken on top of Enchanted Rock located in the Texas Hill Country. Enchanted Rock is a 400 foot tall granite dome that literally sticks up out of the ground. At the start of 2012 I set a personal goal to climb it when the weather turned cooler again in the fall. This meant I had to get back in shape to tackle the hike. Banjo is my trusty hiking companion.
